Christmas prep!

Is what I've been doing and, as a result, not updating this thing. I've been doing lots of s3kr1t Christmas knitting, and all the attendant shopping and shipping and prepwork. I'm also getting ready to go home to PA for a week and a half--looking forward to getting lots stitched over the break. Here's the rundown:

Finished: Secret Project #1: The JoJo the Clown Beret. The youngest niece (she can't read--I'm not too worried about spilling the beans here) is a JoJo the clown fan. I engineered a beret like the one JoJo wears for her this Christmas. It's cute.
Pamela purse: This one didn't take very long at all, and it was a super fun, fast knit. The pooling of the Zebra colorway really came out nicely.

(Just about) Finished: Skully: Haven't seamed it just yet--been busy with the rest of it all.

On the Needles:
Party-Time Apron: No change.

Devan: No change.

Sock: No change.

Lite Brite: Finally got my gauge, and have the first sleeve started--just crossed the sleeve cap zone, and will be decreasing toward the cuff for many inches . . .

Secret Christmas Knitting #2: Can't say what this one is, but it's 75% done, and will be ready in plenty of time for giving over New Year's.

In the Hoop:
Merry Cox Sailor's Huswif: No change.
Joe and Sally Snow: No change.

Obligatory Cultural References
Reading: Finished Peanuts vol. 2, and Pattern Recognition by William Gibson. I'm now tearing through Obsession by John Douglas and Mark Olshaker. A true-crime overview by the FBI's first profiler. Not "light" reading in topic, but certainly fast.
Listening to: Cosmic Slop's penultimate show. I'll miss you, Chuck and Joel!
